HYPOTHESIS

Lets cut to the chase...

Bursa is a secure financial platform that empowers users to efficiently manage their finances, enabling them to spend, save, and stay in control. With its integrated analytics and sub-accounts system, Bursa stands out from the competition.

Analytics

Spending analytics are displayed directly on the dashboard.

Swiping toggles between daily, weekly and monthly analytics.

Tapping on the pie chart reveals more in-depth analytics.

Breakdowns

Each expense is categorised by type. For example: household, groceries and leisure.

These categories are then used in the analytics so the user has a clear representation of where their money is being spent.

Spaces

Image 1

Spaces are sub-accounts which can be used to section off portions of the total balance.

From there, direct debits can be assigned to them specifically.

This helps to keep track of ingoing and outgoing payments and can be used for a variety of purposes.

External payments

Bursa can generate external transaction links which can be used to send or request money from a recipient.

Gone are the days of having to send your bank details to one another.

Everything is managed through the platform via a web browser.

THE BACKGROUND...

Digital transformation in banking

The banking industry is being transformed by digital disruption, as online deposits, mobile apps, and e-bill payments become the new standard.

In 2023, 24% of Brits have a digital-only bank account compared to only 9% in 2019.

Several personas were developed to reflect Bursa's target audience to help understand their wants and needs:

Sian is a fully-grown adult and a devoted mother to her young child. She is currently on maternity leave from her job as an English teacher, and has been engaged to her childhood sweetheart for a couple of years. Although she and her partner are eager to celebrate their love and tie the knot, their financial situation is tight, especially with only one source of income and the added expense of a growing family. Despite these challenges, Sian is determined to find a way to manage her finances wisely and save up for the future.
